F2PDF enables you to manage your templates and content across multiple publication types and is designed to:

• Reduce design costs, through the use of design templates, which may be reused or ‘instantiated’ as publications, where each new publication’s content can be edited and optionally submitted for approved;
• Ensure brand conformity through the use of set styles, themes and articles/messages in all printed work and across all sites;
• Produce print-quality PDF documents, making it easy for PDF documents to be produced in high quality formats;
• Centralised resources. Build an easily reusable database of photos and other graphic resources for use across your organisation with controls over which departments see which resources;
• Content approval.  Facilitate sharing and approval of graphic and text resources across campaigns/sites;
• Allow for workflow management and approval mechanisms prior to final submission of print work to printer.
• Multi-site interface to 3rd party CMSs. Publish your print-ready documents directly to the Joomla! CMS;

Note that F2PDF is aimed at managing print-ready PDF publications, however all content stored is also stored in web-ready formats, with plans to enable publishing to web for a variety of open source content management systems, including the current interface to the Joomla! content management system (www.joomla.org).  Also, the PDFlib Personalization Server, once licensed, be used to ‘pull’ data from any number of databases currently in use for presentation of stored information within other custom PDF documents.
